In this week’s episode, Dr. Glenn Livingston shines a light on the industry of dietary habits, eating disorders, and more. His work relates people’s emotional states to the types of food they crave or struggle with and noticed the same in his own life. He’s passionate about teaching this correlation to others and how knowing about this can overcome poor eating habits.

Throughout Dr. Livingston’s research, he learned about how impulses work in the human brain and how certain situations may affect those impulses. There are a lot of powerful impulses that we are expected to deal with as human beings. Learning techniques to short circuit these impulses is key for habit change, especially with eating.

He shares his insight on how much of an impact an unhealthy diet/lifestyle could have in other areas of life. His programs and book offer steps and habits to incorporate into daily life, allowing greater control over eating behaviors as well as other areas.
