How the NIRA Precision Laser Works

As we get older, our bodies quit making as much collagen…yet another reason to prioritize protein and add a high-quality collagen supplement to your routine. Less collagen means more wrinkles, but the NIRA laser works to reverse some of the natural aging process by gently warming the skin to just above the heat-shock protein threshold. Although the progress I’ve seen is subtle, I’m very happy with the results I’m seeing. I’ve been absolutely consistent for 90 days, treating daily. Since I’m using the NIRA laser on more than just my eyelids, treatment with the NIRA Precision takes about five minutes total. However, with the introduction of the new NIRA Pro version, the amount of time it takes to treat multiple or larger areas is greatly reduced.

The difference you can see in my hooded eyelids is mostly that more of my lid is visible and overall looks less puffy, as you can see in the photos. As with most home treatments, results take longer and are more subtle since you’re not using a professional version of the technology. However, the benefit of that is that the home treatment is way less expensive and less painful than procedures you get in an office. I can definitely attest to this having done IPL treatments in the past for my hyperpigmentation.

For the time invested, lack of pain and greatly reduced cost, I’m happy with the results I’ve seen so far with the NIRA Precision laser. I plan to continue using this daily for at least another three months to see if I can improve my hooded eyelids even more.
