Medical and Nutrition Review Process
Last updated: April 4, 2026
Heal Nourish Grow covers topics that can directly affect health decisions, including GLP-1 medications, dietary supplements, metabolic health and nutrition strategies. Because these topics carry real consequences, some content on this site undergoes review by qualified healthcare professionals.
This page explains what that review process involves, what it means when you see a “Reviewed by” byline and how we select which content is prioritized for expert review.
What “Reviewed By” Means
When an article on Heal Nourish Grow includes a Reviewed by [Name], [Credentials] byline, it means a qualified professional has evaluated that specific article for:
- Scientific accuracy: Are claims supported by current evidence?
- Appropriate interpretation: Is the research presented in proper context, including limitations?
- Safety considerations: Are potential risks, contraindications or interactions addressed where relevant?
- Clinical alignment: Does the content reflect current clinical understanding and guidelines?
The reviewer's name, credentials and a link to their profile are displayed on every article they review.
What Review Does Not Mean
Expert review adds an important layer of credibility, but it has clear boundaries:
- Reviewed content is not medical advice and does not replace consultation with your own healthcare provider
- Review reflects the article's accuracy at the time of review. Science evolves, and articles are updated as new evidence emerges
- Reviewers evaluate the content they are specifically assigned to. Their byline does not imply endorsement of all content on the site
- Review does not establish a doctor-patient or provider-client relationship between the reviewer and any reader

Which Content Is Reviewed
Not every article on Heal Nourish Grow requires expert review. We prioritize review for content that addresses higher-risk or more complex health topics, including:
- GLP-1 receptor agonist medications and related therapies
- Dietary supplements and metabolic interventions
- Hormone and metabolic health
- Content involving physiological claims, dosing or safety considerations
Lower-risk content (such as recipes, general fitness guidance and lifestyle topics) is managed through our standard editorial process and does not typically require expert review.

How the Review Process Works
- Content is drafted and edited following our standard editorial process, including sourcing from peer-reviewed research
- Articles flagged for review are sent to a qualified reviewer matched to the topic area
- The reviewer evaluates the article for accuracy, interpretation, safety and clinical alignment
- Feedback is incorporated and any necessary corrections or clarifications are made before publication
- The “Reviewed by” byline is added with the reviewer's name, credentials and review date
Reviewed articles also display:
- The date of the most recent review
- A link to the reviewer's profile
- A link to this page so readers can understand what the review entails
Ongoing Review and Updates
Health and nutrition science evolves. When meaningful new research, guideline changes or safety information emerges, previously reviewed articles may be updated and, when appropriate, re-reviewed.
Updated articles will reflect the most recent review date.
